The technique of equalization to compensate for the effect of the channel which causes distortion in transmitted signal. Different kinds of equalizers are used depending upon the application of the system and upon the kind of communication channel. The pro channel environment. The purpose of equalization system is to compensate for transmission as signal affected as frequency depended phase or as amplitude at frequency-response anomalies, The equalizer can cancel the effects of multipath signal components. They may require significantly longer filter spans than simple spectral equalizers, but the principles of operation the same.
